I crosspost this journal at LiveJournal, since I grew up there and a lot of people are more comfortable reading and commenting on that site. I don’t have a problem with that. Really – I’m happy you take the time to read, and want you to do that where it’s most comfortable to you.
But there is a small way you guys can help me. If you read a certain post, could you click the link to my fidesquaerens.org site? At the top of each post there’s a statement in smaller font: “Originally published at Faith Seeking Understanding. You can comment here or there.” Click on either of the two links. You can even open it in a new tab (in most browsers, by holding down the control of command key) if you don’t want to lose your place, and then just close that tab once it’s through loading. This gives me a better idea of how many people are reading what kinds of posts, and it also improves my rank on things like Google, so people searching for a certain topic are more likely to find me.
I’m not trying to force people to interact on Fidesquaerens.org – I crosspost because I want people who like LJ to still feel comfortable reading and commenting. But if you could at least open up the FidesQuaerens.org page it would give me a better idea of how many people are reading and what kinds of things they’re most interested in.
